YAY!

Well, Eating healthy isn't bad.  In fact, we don't change very much from the way we eat now to fit in with this 'special diet' thing.  The only problem that we have is that on weekends we're usually so busy that we just can't sit around and make food for every meal.  When i'm 2 hours from home and need to eat, i'm going to eat!  Or rather, i get to now!  We've decided to modify this healthy eating/whole foods thing to weekdays.

I'm not going to eat donuts for breakfast followed by hamburgers for lunch and fried chicken for dinner on Saturday/Sunday.  If we're out and about and get hungry though I can pick up some food without having to worry about finding a grocer and buying fruit to tide me over.  For the most part, when we're not very busy we'll still be eating at home and healthy.  The food we have at home will most likely remain diet approved.

I'm happy.  The weekend limitations really are the only thing that bugged me about this diet.  260 days of the year will be healthy dieting, the other 105 will be mostly diet worthy, but the occasional burger/fries or fried chicken will be on the menu.

Yeah, we've taken the easier fork in the road... but it's not like we just rolled off the path to die.
